Josh Sullivan is a young leg-spinner from Leeds who has been affiliated to Yorkshire ccc since being selected for the u14 age group team. It didn’t take Josh long to make an impact as a young gun claiming 5/2 whilst playing for Yorkshire’s Under 14s side.

He then went onto represent the county at Under 15s and 17s as well as the Academy and the second team, the latter across the last three seasons. Josh claimed 26 wickets for the Academy and second-team in 2019 and then claimed four wickets in three second-team friendlies in 2020. Josh has already proven that he is a genuine wicket taker claiming 65 wickets in three years of academy cricket between 2017 and 2019. 

Josh has also represented the ECB’s Elite Player Development North Under 17s side in 2018 where he once again impressed and showcased his talent. 2020 will hopefully see Josh get his first taste of 1st team cricket.

Josh’s performances throughout the 2021 season earned him a new 1 year deal with Yorkshire.
